The DI Fall College Championship is down to its final two teams, making this ranking the penultimate update. Air Force and Navy will contest the fall final on Dec. 8 in Matthews, N.C., and the list reorganized around them.

Navy had the more competitive weekend, and needed a second-half push to beat Davenport, and fortitude in terrible weather to beat UCONN by seven points. Navy head coach Murph McCarthy talks about the quarterfinals and semifinals here. Air Force cruised in the western half of the bracket and outscored Indiana and Minnesota by a combined 138-10. No one has come close to the reigning champions this fall.
Some teams played the fall quarterfinalists to tougher matches throughout the fall but the rankings acknowledge the unique pressures and demands of back-to-back regional playoff games. Utah State, for example, played Wyoming to a 12-point loss in the Rocky Mountain semifinals, but it’s guesswork to make adjustments with idle teams that didn’t have the opportunity to test themselves at this level.
