All College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) fall DI conferences have reported their member programs’ return-to-play and training restrictions for the fall of 2020. With only the U.S. Naval and U.S. Air Force academies reporting that their programs will be competing this fall, the 2020 CRAA Fall DI Women’s Playoffs and Championship (December 5) have been cancelled.
The DI fall competition would have included approximately 35 teams from the Big 10, Midwest, Northeast, Rocky Mountain and Texas conferences, and three independent programs (the aforementioned academies and Princeton University).
Fall 15s programs will be given a pathway into the 2021 CRAA Spring DI Women’s Championships if they elect to participate. CRAA will continue to work with the Sportsplex in Matthews, N.C., to return the fall championship to their superlative facilities on December 4, 2021.
