Following successful summer and fall residencies this year, the American Rugby Pro Training Center (ARPTC) has announced its high school programming for 2021. The USA Rugby National Development Program is looking for girls and women, aged 15-18, who are looking for year-round instruction and elite player development.

ARPTC Founder Jules McCoy and Program Director Ryszard Chadwick have curated a comprehensive learning environment that respects Covid-19 restricts and allows in-person training. The calendar begins with a trial camp on January 22-24, and then follows with the first of three remote programming sets. The online learning is optional and includes one-on-one development in strength and conditioning (S&C), nutrition and rugby IQ.

There are four player camps, ranging from three days to two weeks, that take place in Little Rock, Ark. Instruction will focus on S&C, mental skills, nutrition, film review will further aid attendees’ rugby and personal development. Players must pay for their travel to Little Rock but all in-camp amenities – food, accommodation, kit, transport – are covered. Twelve ARPTC players will be selected to each of the four tournament teams featuring at Tropical 7s (Orlando), Falcon 7s (Little Rock), NAI 7s (Salt Lake City) and New York 7s (NYC).
